Longer life PAC Die Springs or High Force Compression Springs are made of pre-tempered, rectangular shaped chrome silicon wire. The springs are designed for use where high loads are required and in applications where ambient temperatures reach 475 degrees F. The springs are stress relieved after coiling, preset and shot peened to provide maximum fatigue life. Both ends are precision ground and then powder coated white with a colored stripe to identify duty range.
